Silver - Undervalued and Ready to Shine

For the prospect of another very strong rally in precious metal prices is growing by the day. With the stock market at all time highs, weak US and global economies, staggering US debt and the inflationary policies of QE 1, 2, 3, etc. conditions are ripe for precious metals as a group to soar - with silver perhaps in the best shape of them all for major gains. The big change coming for gold and silver is a complete reassessment by markets about the outlook for money printing around the world. They have started the year believing that QE will be over by October and that the Chinese authorities are also committed to deflating their overblown credit markets. Once stock markets tumble further the central banks will have to alter tack and flood markets with liquidity again to offset the deflationary impact. Gold and silver will be the most immediate beneficiaries of this volte face, and silver always tends to outperform gold when prices are going up. It’s a smaller and more tightly held market and so price reactions are more violent.

American Eagle Gold Coin

American Eagle Silver Coins
Fineness = 0.999

Since its introduction in 1986, over 70 million American Silver Eagles have been bought by wise collectors and investors. Silver Eagles have become the most popular bullion coin in the world because of its beauty, its quality and the assurance of content by the U.S. Government. The design is based on the famous "Walking Liberty" of Adolph Weinman's 1916 U.S. half-dollar, widely considered to be one of the most beautiful coins ever minted. Every Silver Eagle is a meticulously crafted work of art, produced to the exacting standards of The United States Mint. By law, all U.S. Silver Eagle bullion coins are struck only from silver mined in the United States

90% Silver Bags
0.900 Silver Coin Bags

Bags of U.S. circulating legal tender coins (dimes, quarters, half-dollars) containing 90% silver or 40% silver are traded based on silver weight. All bags contain $1,000 face value of the coins and a "90% bag" may contain 10,000 dimes, 4,000 quarters or 2,000 half-dollars or a mixture of dimes, quarters or halves that total $1,000 face value. All "90% coins" are pre-1965 because prior to 1965, all U.S. dimes, quarters and half-dollars were struck from an alloy containing 90% silver and 10% copper. In 1965, at the direction of Congress, the U.S. Mint removed all silver from dimes and quarters. Silver content in half-dollars was reduced to 40%

A-Mark Liberty Silver Rounds
Fineness= 0.999

In 1983, A-Mark Precious Metals, Inc., began minting The Liberty Pure Silver medallion or round. The Liberty met almost instant success with the demand often outstripping the supply. The obverse design features America's national symbol, The American Eagle with arrows in its talons and surrounded by thirteen stars representing the original thirteen colonies. The reverse depicts the historic Liberty Bell and the words, "Life, Liberty, Happiness" above the bell and the A-Mark logo with .999 Pure Silver below. A-Mark Liberty Pure Silver Rounds are an excellent way to invest in pure silver because their premium above the silver spot price is often less than that of legal tender coins.

Engelhard Silver Bar

Engelhard silver bars, along with Johnson Matthey silver bars, carry the greatest recognition with silver investors because of their longevity in the precious metals industry. There are no better names in the precious metals industry than Engelhard and Johnson Matthey.

And, this is despite Engelhard bars not having been manufactured since the late 1980s. Engelhard silver bars are available only when sold by investors.

Most Engelhard 100-oz silver bars are extruded (maybe 20% are poured). Because of they are flat and wide, Engelhard silver bars stack and store nicely, making them ideal for storage in safe deposit boxes. All extruded Engelhard silver bars measure the same; poured Engelhard silver bars can vary a little in dimensions.
